Delete Your Account
You can delete your Tavern Recruit account and the data tied to it at any time. You do not need to give a reason, and you can do it from the app or by email.
Delete from the app
- Open Tavern Recruit and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and tap the Settings cog.
- Tap Delete Account, then Delete to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.
Delete by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, email us from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account:

We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we act on it. We will delete your account within 30 days of your request.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account and email address.
- Your profile, including your photos, games, availability and location.
- Notices you posted and applications you made or received.
- Your chats and the messages you sent. A chat is removed for the other player too.
- Your blocks, reports, notification settings and device push tokens.
What may be kept
Product analytics events carry a one-way hashed ID, not your account ID, and crash reports are held by our crash-reporting provider under its own retention period. Anything we must keep for legal or regulatory reasons is kept only as long as the law requires. Section 8 of our Privacy Policy has the details.
